NBA 2K19 professional players are taking part in the second season of the NBA 2K League. This is an e-sports league created in collaboration with NBA teams. It was founded in 2018 and, after a successful first season, more NBA teams joined this venture. All participating NBA teams have a corresponding NBA 2K19 team to represent them in the league. The 2019 season has four more teams. Atlanta Hawks, Brooklyn Nets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Los Angeles Lakers have joined the league. Seventeen teams took part in the first season. Now there are 21 teams in total. League representatives are confident that eventually all NBA teams will be represented in the NBA 2K League.

The first team that will make the pick in the first round is Jazz Gaming and the last one is Knicks Gaming. The 2019 draft is scheduled to take place on March 5th in Brooklyn, New York.
